Let's build this together

Whether you are an investor exploring blue carbon, a buyer seeking future verified credits, a potential partner, or a journalist covering nature markets. We want to hear from you.

Who We Are Talking To

Investors

We are developing a blue carbon origination platform that will generate future verified credits from a community-governed landscape backed by three years of baseline evidence. If you are exploring early-stage nature-based investment in East Africa, we welcome conversations on structure, timing, and forward purchase arrangements.

Carbon Buyers

The Mnazi Bay Blue Carbon Programme is targeting dual certification under Plan Vivo and Tanzania's NCMC. If you are a corporate buyer or intermediary seeking high-integrity, community-governed blue carbon credits from Tanzania, early engagement now shapes the credit pipeline and offtake terms.

Partners & Collaborators

We are actively exploring collaboration with organisations operating in the Western Indian Ocean: co-marketing, knowledge transfer on community financial governance, joint regulatory advocacy, and geographic expansion across the WIO seascape. If your work aligns, reach out.

Media & Research

Kaboni Yetu is among the first community-governed blue carbon origination platforms to develop within Tanzania's GN 636 (2022) regulatory framework. We welcome media enquiries, academic collaboration, and knowledge exchange on community carbon governance in East Africa.

Investing in Tanzania's blue carbon frontier

Kaboni Yetu is a pre-revenue origination platform with confirmed grant readiness funding from ORRAA/UK Blue Planet Fund, three years of baseline evidence, and a defined path to dual certification under Plan Vivo and Tanzania's NCMC. We are engaging early-stage investors and forward purchase buyers ahead of verification.

Forward-looking statement: All figures and timelines are projections. Actual outcomes depend on regulatory approvals, certification processes, and market conditions. Nothing on this page constitutes investment advice or a solicitation to purchase securities or carbon credits.

Certification

Plan Vivo Standard

The global community-based carbon and ecosystem services standard. Plan Vivo requires robust benefit-sharing, community consent (FPIC), and high-integrity ecological evidence, the bar Kaboni Yetu is built to meet. Registration targeted for 2026–27.
