Program Manager

Aqua-Farms Organization existed since 2016 and was legally registered in July 2017 under NGO Act No. 24 of 2002 of the United Republic of Tanzania with 13 founding members who came together to ensure development and food security is achieved through environmentally friendly aquaculture and rebuild-ed fisheries. The Program Manager (PM) will support the Executive Director in leading program strategy, management, and budget, programmatic fundraising, and programmatic communications for Aqua-Farms Organization. This role is both strategic and hands-on and will evolve as the few projects continue to expand. Initially the PM will be responsible for the successful execution of program-wide projects in AFO

 

Finance Officer

The Finance Officer will be pivotal in establishing and maintaining robust financial systems and policies to ensure organizational compliance with prescribed practices and regulations. This role involves providing comprehensive financial and administrative support across the design, implementation, and monitoring of organizational activities, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining audit trails for all project-related matters.

People & Culture Officer

The People and Culture officer will lead, direct, and manage the day-to-day Human Resources activities of AFO and will also provide oversight and guidance to the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation, benefits, training and development, employee engagement, and employee satisfaction. Key elements to the role will be the ability to work that demonstrates a clear commitment to AFO’s values, mission, and vision.

Communications Intern

We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Communication Intern. This is a paid internship opportunity lasting six months, providing valuable experience in the non-profit sector. 

Graphic Design and Website Management
