Prosper Mahenge holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Bee Resource Management and is passionate about sustainable beekeeping, biodiversity conservation, and community development. He is currently serving as an Apiculture Intern at Action For Ocean (AFO), where he supports community-based beekeeping initiatives that promote sustainable livelihoods while contributing to ecosystem restoration and conservation. His interests include bee health, apiary management, environmental education, and the integration of beekeeping with nature-based solutions for climate resilience. Prosper enjoys working with local communities to strengthen skills, improve productivity, and encourage environmentally responsible practices. He is committed to continuous learning, collaboration, and applying science-based approaches to create positive and lasting impacts for both people and the environment.
