The Livelihood Field Officer plays a vital role in bridging the gap
between Aqua Farm Organisation’s (AFO) program management and
the field team (facilitators) and the communities. This position is critical
in ensuring effective communication, guiding program implementation,
and ensuring that project priorities are clearly understood and executed.
The Livelihood Field Officer will manage day-to-day program
operations, supervise the Village Savings and Loan Associations
(VSLA) facilitators, and work closely with community groups to ensure
the success of AFO’s livelihood initiatives in the Tanga Region.

Additionally, the role requires collaboration with local leaders, fisheries officers, and other stakeholders to strengthen community participation and ensure long-term project sustainability. Effective documentation and communication are also key responsibilities, including maintaining field activity records and contributing to project reporting using Microsoft Word.
