Imelda Michael Ilomo, a dedicated community development and sustainable livelihoods professional with over three years of experience, focused on empowering Tanzania’s local communities through strategic economic resilience programs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Natural Resources Economics and Business from the University of Dar es Salaam. Imelda possesses significant expertise in environmental restoration, Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) management, and sustainable agriculture, leading numerous initiatives that tackle pressing local challenges while fostering financial independence. Imelda’s collaborative and practical approach guide to impactful programs that not only enhance livelihoods but also promote conservation efforts. By integrating sustainable practices into community development, she helps ensure that local populations can thrive economically while safeguarding their natural resources for future generations.
