Hosea Songo is a dedicated Livelihood and Conservation Associate at Action For Ocean (AFO), where he supports community-based marine conservation and sustainable livelihood initiatives. With a strong academic background in Aquatic Science and Fisheries, Hosea has developed hands-on experience in marine ecosystem research, fisheries management, and the integration of livelihood development with environmental conservation.
His work focuses on promoting sustainable marine resource use through participatory approaches, including seaweed farming, mariculture development, and fisheries co-management. Hosea is passionate about bridging science and community needs to support the resilience of coastal ecosystems and the well-being of local communities.
