Allen Kaijanangoma is a sociologist with over six years of experience implementing and managing livelihood projects across various agricultural value chains. His work has concentrated on strengthening rural community financial resilience by enhancing access to finance through the Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) approach, enabling smallholder farmers to invest in farming activities. Allen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Dar es Salaam. Currently, he serves as a Livelihood Officer at AFO Organization, where he supports the Africa Fair Seaweed Finance Facility (AFSFF) programme. In this role, he plays a vital part in promoting sustainable seaweed farming by facilitating financial inclusion and value chain development for coastal communities. His dedication to inclusive development and grassroots empowerment continues to foster positive change in the areas he serves.
